Mould Remediation
Stop mould before it spreads, damages assets, and disrupts your workplace.
Commercial and Industrial Mould Remediation
Mould is a growing problem — and it gets harder (and more expensive) to deal with the longer it’s left untreated. In commercial and industrial environments, mould contamination can escalate quickly: damaging building materials and creating health and compliance concerns for the people using the space.
Since 2016, Clear Protect has been a trusted mould remediation provider in Auckland, delivering effective mould control and removal for hundreds of businesses. We’re the partner facilities and property managers call when they need the issue dealt with properly — not just wiped over.
Whether it’s mould, mildew, fungus, or black mould, it’s not something a business can afford to ignore. The longer it persists, the greater the cost and the impact.
Best suited for: commercial buildings, industrial sites, warehouses, offices, schools, healthcare, hospitality, food environments
Who this is for
Best suited for: commercial buildings, industrial sites, warehouses, offices, schools, healthcare, hospitality, food environments
Note: we’re not set up for small residential mould jobs — our process is designed for larger sites that need documentation, verification and minimal operational disruption.
Our Mould Remediation Proccess
Step 1 — Mould Assessment + Air Spore Assessment (from $1,100)
Time on site: up to 1 day
What you get: a documented assessment that identifies affected areas, likely sources, and the right remediation pathway (so you don’t pay twice)
Why it matters: mould is often a moisture/ventilation issue first; remediation without diagnosis tends to fail
Step 2 — Remediation
Containment, removal/cleaning approach appropriate to the materials and site risk profile
Scheduling options to reduce downtime / disruption
Disposal and hygiene controls (especially important in food/health settings)
Step 3 — Prevention / Air Treatment (where appropriate)
SanAir application to heat pumps / air conditioning when systems are a likely contributor or recirculation risk
SanAir for targeted environments where it makes sense (plant rooms, storage areas, recurring-risk zones, etc.)
What you get
- Reduced risk of mould spreading or returning due to incomplete remediation
- Protection of building materials and affected surfaces
- Cleaner, more usable spaces without persistent musty odour and visible growth
- A clear, professional process suitable for workplaces, facilities, and property managers
- Minimal disruption through 24/7 scheduling where required
Health and safety, compliance, and wellbeing
In workplaces and commercial buildings, it’s crucial to recognise the impact mould can have on people who occupy contaminated spaces — including adults, children, infants, the elderly, and immunocompromised individuals.
Symptoms of mould exposure may present as tiredness or fatigue, disruptive coughing and sneezing, red or watery eyes, and runny noses. In more severe instances, mould can act as a trigger for asthma attacks and other allergic reactions.
The implications can extend beyond common respiratory issues. Certain types of mould carry the potential to induce fungal infections. In extremely rare cases, there is a risk of mycotoxin poisoning.
All of these can impact health and wellness, as well as employee and organisational productivity. Regular mould inspections and proactive remediation efforts are practical elements of a broader business health and safety strategy.
Our mould removal process
A disciplined process matters — because mould often returns when the cause isn’t understood or remediation is incomplete.
Step One: Assess, test, and plan
We conduct a comprehensive assessment of affected areas. In some cases, this may include surface testing and/or air testing, which is sent to an independent laboratory for analysis and reporting.
Following assessment, we draft a strategic plan to address the mould issue effectively. We coordinate a work schedule for mould removal that aligns with your business needs, operating 24/7 to ensure minimal disruption.
Step Two: Eliminate mould contamination (visible and invisible)
Equipped with specialist mould extraction equipment and our exclusive lab-tested range of Clear Protect products, our technicians complete the mould elimination phase — cleaning, killing, and removing both visible and invisible mould contamination and spores.
Step Three: Antimicrobial fogging protection
Post-cleaning, our team completes an antimicrobial fogging process using our exclusive Clear Protect fogging agent. This advanced product forms a protective barrier to help prevent further mould growth and captures any remaining airborne mould or invisible spores that escape visual detection.
Step Four: Final tidy and outcome feedback
On completion, our team ensures a clean and tidy environment, leaving your commercial space immaculate. We also provide valuable feedback on the remediation outcome, reinforcing transparency and customer confidence.
